A few months ago, I read a study that found that high-achieving women are far less likely than men to use AI tools, even as those tools become essential for landing jobs, getting promoted, and shaping the future.

I read this and I was like, eek! Whatever you think about AI, it’s not something to put your head in the sand about. So, I put out a call for women interested in AI and looking for a supportive community to improve their skills. Hundreds of women responded, so I grabbed a few AI-pilled WHOOP coworkers and we put our heads together about what to do.

I’m very excited to share that we are hosting our first GRRLS IN THE LOOP live learning and social event in Boston on August 6! (Yes, this is very soon; yes, I am extremely pregnant; yes, you should cancel existing plans to come hang).

While we had originally imagined this as a Slack group, we decided an in-person event would be the best way to spark meaningful learning, foster genuine connections, and create a sense of shared energy that’s hard to replicate online.

We’re only selling 35 tickets, so get yours before they are gone! You can also get early bird pricing through July 29, when we’ll be raising the price $100. (BTW, the website has a templated email you can send your boss to get the event reimbursed!)

What the day looks like

We’ve designed the day to be immersive, practical, and genuinely fun, whether you’re just getting started with AI or already experimenting on your own.

9 am: Think Clearer with AI: Learn how to use AI to clarify ideas, challenge assumptions, and make stronger, more strategic decisions at work and beyond.

10 am: Work Smarter with AI: We’ll walk through the tools and simple workflows that help you reclaim your time and focus on the work that matters.

11 am: Build with AI: Get a step-by-step walkthrough of how to build a “vibe-coded” app from scratch. No technical skills required.

12 pm: Lunch: A relaxed, communal break to recharge and connect with your fellow grrls.

1 pm: Create with AI: Time to get your hands dirty. You’ll bring a fun app idea to life with help from our team of facilitators and our good friend Cursor.

3 pm: Leveling Up with AI: Hear real stories of women using AI to grow their impact and income, and learn how to do the same.

4 pm: Drinks with the grrls: Unwind, celebrate what you built, and raise a glass with the incredible women you’ve spent the day learning alongside.
