I have a new three-hour virtual workshop coming this fall: Build Your Household OS.
If you are the person in your house tracking what everyone will eat this week, how much toilet paper is left, and what time every school activity starts, then you know how much work it takes to run a household. And, it’s very possible that a lot of that work lives inside your own head.
This workshop is about getting it out of your head and into a system that AI can help with.
The idea came from Audrey Sze, a student in my Supermanagers course, who adapted some of the course material for Pinterest’s Moms Employee Resource Group.
My friends, she absolutely crushed it. When she showed me the workshop she built, I immediately wanted to bring it to all of you.
Join us to learn how to:
Break recurring household tasks into something AI can actually help with
Build a meal planner around your household’s real preferences and constraints
Surface the hidden information that makes “simple” tasks hard to hand off
Create shared inputs so a partner can contribute
Troubleshoot AI workflows when they give you generic or wrong answers
Leave with one automation running, and a method for building more (including for work)
When I first shared the workshop in the Substack chat, some lovely dads made it very clear they wanted in too :) So this is open to anyone who wants to simplify the work of running a household. (And don’t get too excited, but THE Startup Dad himself, Adam Fishman, will be joining us).
I often tell my Supermanagers students that even if they never build a single AI tool, they become better managers simply by learning to define what good looks like. I think the same thing is true here: even before you automate anything, there’s enormous value in getting all that invisible household knowledge out of your head and into a system someone else can help with.
We’re running two live sessions: September 22 and October 1. Come join us.
And if you’ve been curious about Supermanagers, fall enrollment is open too.
xoxo,
hils
