2. "If AI does all the research and hands me a summary, I will not have been changed by the experience, and to do a good job I need to be changed by my research." - 100%, and my number 1 current rut reason for working with AI. I feel like the more efficiently I work with it, the less I get to learn. The information is just there, more accessible than ever, but it has not been internalized by me, just propagated into collaterals to justify actions.
3. "I know I need a better interface than the chat window -- something less flexible and more opinionated". 101%. I more and more feel like Claude Code for me, has become the digital mental model of an office cubicle. I yearn to escape the chat interface, but everywhere I look, its... there. I need to do a whole 180 to escape the walls of it.
the funny thing is… I love the chat window when I am getting started! I think it is perfect for blank page work. The interface I want reveals itself out of chat as I go.
I love love LOVE your approach to personalized software… we really are in a place where everyone can build exactly what they need and I think it can change the game for how solo people manage their business, their audience, and their creative creation or research.
I’m interested to see how quickly more people become comfortable w tools like Claude Code and Codex - can the big model companies or Lovable make it approachable?? - it’s a whole new world. Who is actually going to create their own SaaS and who is going to keep paying for it? What about SaaS people provide to their audience? 🧠🧠
I love how you’ve captured and explained your process for building and iterating! You think you might release your code for Card Board next? ;)
if the people want it! it’s a little rougher around the edges at the moment
As always, I'm amazed by your creativity and ability to explain complex topics in a digestible way. This is such a cool idea!
thanks Sami!! <3 <3
